About The Building

The historic locktender building is a Dutch Colonial Revival style house built in 1912 on government island. It originally housed the lock keeper and their family.  In October 1983, the building was abandoned by the Corps of Engineers and sat vacant until it was leased from the City of De Pere by local residents (“5 Dam Guys”).  The inside has been completely updated with reclaimed wood and made into a very functional, cool venue.

Now, the beautiful building is a versatile multi-purpose space.  It is available to rent for parties, gatherings, photoshoots, and events of all kinds.  It features a catering kitchen, seating for up to 50 people, a speakeasy bar, and countless other amenities that make it unlike any other venue in the area!

The location of the building is unmatched - enjoy the beautiful sunsets, sounds of rushing water, the Fox River Riverwalk as well as the ability to watch boats move through the lock system.
